Boomi 是一家践行环保理念的互联网公司。通过运营一个绿色环保日常消费品的电商平台，在消费者在平台购物的过程中，他们会拿出一部分资金用于环保，让每个人都能看到自己对环境做出的贡献，使人们在消费的同时也在改善身边的自然环境。
Boomi was founded with the goal of making a difference. Like manyof us, they were frustrated by the amount of plastic used globallyand how there is little or no resource for consumers to combatagainst it. Having the goal to combat plastic pollution and deforestation with the things we use every single day, Boomi was created.
挑战内容
Boomi目前在微信上拥有65%的外籍用户和35%的中国用户比例。我们如何改变这两个百分比，使Boomi有65%的中国用户，35%的外籍用户。
Boomi currently has a 65% expat to 35% Chinese user ratio on WeChat. The challenge for this team is, how to switch the two percentages around so Boomi would have a majority Chinese and minority expat audience?

从这个项目中我学到很多东西，建立团队是提高工作效率的好方法，严格的逻辑和开放的态度可以帮助你解决大多数问题。

From this project, I learned a lot of things. Build a team is a good way to increase work efficiency. Sound logic and an open mind can help you solve most problems.
It’s a wonderful project that can help us discover some new areas and know more about ourselves. I'm very grateful for this opportunity.
Magid 大山：
总体来说第一周很顺利，但是花了一些时间才正式开始朝着正确的方向进行。虽然初期调研花费了很多时间，但最后也是这些调研帮助我们最后制定了正确的策略。
WeeK 1 was good but it took some time to start and go in the right track, research took a lot of time but it helped us to make the right strategy at the end.
第二周发生的太快了，我们没有足够的时间来实施或做一些更贴合实际的事情。如果可以将挑战时间延长会更好一些，但从另一个角度来说短期内施加更多的压力和这种快节奏的工作也是一种很棒的体验。
Week 2 was so quick and we had not enough time to implement or do some more practical things. It would be better if it can be made a little bit longer but it was also good to put more pressure and make it more exciting.
无论如何，参与创业是非常令人兴奋和有趣的经历，并且它是独一无二的。过后我发现我们还有很多东西要学习，而且经过这两周的忙碌工作使我们变得更加坚强和坚定。
Anyhow It was a very exciting and interesting experience to involve with a startup, and very unique of its kind. We had a lot of things to learn and 2 weeks of hectic work experience made us stronger and more determined. The LinkedIn workshop was very helpful and valuable.
Valerie Yu：
在头两天，团队中的成员彼此之间并不熟悉。我们对如何应对挑战还没有一个明确的想法，团队沟通过上存在隔阂。虽然我们对Boomi和其他相关公司做了很多研究但我们还是会感到迷茫，不知道下一步该怎么做。但通过Kay和Marian的指导，我们在慢慢摸索方向。第一次汇报后，结果不是很尽人意，Boomi需要我们给出更多实际可操作的方案。
In the first two days, members of the team were not very familiar with each other, and we didn’t have a clear idea about what to do with the challenge. We did a lot of research about Boomi and other related companies. And sometimes, we were lost and did not know what to do next. Thanks to the guidance by Kay and Marian, we could move on. For the first presentation, we were asked to give more actionable plans.
Tree Flow活动使我更好地了解了Boomi。LinkedIn工作坊也对我们帮助很大。我们逐步明确需要做的步骤，对最初的计划不断进行优化。PPT设计是另一个挑战。在Kay和Sain的帮助下，我们也对PPT进行了很多再设计。最终十分圆满的完成了最终汇报。我迈出了第一步，与伙伴交流，告诉他们我的困惑，问他们是否有误会，是否需要帮助。
Tree Flow helped me to learn Boomi better. The LinkedIn workshop was really helpful. We clarified the steps we needed to do. We tried to get things done as we planned. However, PPT design was another challenge for us. With the help of Kay and Sain, we made it look better. And eventually, the result seemed good. I am glad I made the first move to communicate with my partners. I shared with them my confusion and ask them if there was a misunderstanding and if they needed help.

We were a little worried at the beginning, but we were happy that we were brutally honest with the team the first week and the students really picked it up.

The bigggest takeaway we got from the students was the idea of a WeChat personal assisstant. We are actually implementing this soon in our own strategy！
